There are many free web hosting website out there and I made a quick list for you below, BUT do not be fooled by the word FREE. I will show you how to get REAL FREE web hosting but first let me explain about these other free sites first.

What Sucks! About free web hosting?

3 Major problems with free sites

• Full of banner Ads - They don't mind giving you a free website because you will help drive traffic to their Adverting Ads NOT yours. Just think about they offer you a free web hosting you build a site, do great job with the design SEO, start bringing in traffic and if any one clicks on the ads YOU DON'T GET PAID. No you don't have a choice these are mandatory Ads unless you upgrade to a paid membership which brings me to my second point...

• Upgrade reminders - When you have a free site the web host will constantly email you with pressure marketing until you get so sick of it you  close your account. They will email almost everyday trying to get you to upgrade and if you don't after a cert time some will close your account, after all you hard work building and getting traffic to it.

• Limited access - Although you really could have a website up and going in minutes with a shopping cart by Pay Pal, you will be limited to what you can do with your site. The free ones get only so much space for pictures and pages and some have only trial memberships.

How to get Free Web hosting

Here the big secret I wish someone would have told me...

If you open an account at Host Upon you will pay $7.95 a month (peanuts) HOLD ON..I know... where does the free come in?

With that account you get and a free domain name, your own .com, .ca, .org etc. FOR Life,  I prepaid mine for the next 3 years during their promotion, it was only $71 total for 3 years, I caught it during the half off sale, crazy cheap. OK...now that you have your first account (website) all of your next websites and Blogs both that you'll need hosting for can be done for FREE...YES FREE though this same account.

Wish I knew this before I bought all my separate hosting for each of my sites. Now I will never have to buy another host for any new sites I create.

How it works is once you sign up and your account is active, just add another domain, actually unlimited domains into this account for FREE. You have to pay for each domain (.com, .ca, .org etc.) of course but the hosting is FREE, you will just add it into your existing paid account. I know some people that have 40+ websites with their one Just Host account.
 

Some tips when setting up your account

• Sign up as your business name (Strictly Optional) the first time as this will make it easier when you add all your additional websites later.

Example: Sign up as www.yourcompany.com. Then when you add other websites and have them hosted for FREE they will be easier to manage in your website file manager. Why this is important is strictly for clerical reasons. If you don't when you try to manually get into one of your accounts it will be hard to find the website folder your looking for.

Let say you sign up for you first account as www.2getwebtraffic.com. Later you add another website called www.toe-nail-fungus.ca. Inside your file manager will be your main top folder for the account called 2getwebtraffic inside of that folder will be one called toe-nail-fungus. It would be easier if the top folder was called your business name and all the website folder were listed inside of it. It's up to you, I just wish I would have done it that way when I signed up.
